Why bootcamps work with Code Leads

Job Halo subscribers are already reviewing roles; we help you speak to the right ones when their match lines up with what you teach.

Your voice

You approve the facts once

You share accurate details about your cohort and offer during onboarding; AI composes variants from that approved profile so tone stays yours, not a one-size-fits-all blurb.

Smart moment

Only when the job fits

If the job description mentions technical skills your program teaches, that subscriber may automatically see a tailored line (e.g. “How are your skills in X?”), not everyone, every time.

Personal

One reader at a time

We’re not blasting a list. Each line is generated for that subscriber next to their match, not the same block of text to everyone.

Tracked

Know it’s Job Halo

We add ?ref=job-halo to your URL so clicks from us are obvious in analytics and admissions.

Is Code Leads right for your bootcamp?

Straightforward expectations, so you know if this partnership fits before you commit.

Yes, if you…

  • Can share accurate program facts once for us to personalize from, not looking to rewrite every send by hand
  • Teach technical skills that actually show up in job posts (so the match makes sense)
  • Can accept ?ref=job-halo on your landing page or stack (so you know it’s us)
  • Prefer relevance over sheer volume

Probably not, if you…

  • Need a guaranteed number of enrollments per week
  • Want the same banner in every email regardless of job fit
  • Can’t commit to honest wording about outcomes and prerequisites

For coding bootcamps that want to reach Job Halo subscribers who are already reviewing curated remote roles, while we handle fit and placement so your team spends less time cold-promoting.

When someone’s matched job mentions technical skills your program teaches, we automatically generate a short line for that alert, personalized from your onboarding inputs, placed beside their match. Outbound clicks use your URL with ?ref=job-halo so admissions and analytics know the visit came from Job Halo.

Frequently asked questions

What does ?ref=job-halo do?

It’s a simple query on outbound links (e.g. yoursite.com/apply?ref=job-halo). So your URLs show the click came from Job Halo. Most teams already understand ref-style parameters.

You’ll still want your own analytics on your bootcamp site to measure visits and conversions (we don’t replace your stack). For revenue-focused attribution we recommend DataFast: fast setup and clear channel reporting.

How is the personalized ad generated for each subscriber?

You share the technical skills your program covers, plus three short inputs once during onboarding so we can tune the model to your bootcamp. From there, personalization runs automatically; you are not drafting each alert by hand.

When a subscriber’s Job Halo match lines up with what you teach, the system uses AI to generate the personalized line for that alert using only the facts and boundaries you approved; nothing invented beyond your inputs.

The three inputs we collect are:

  • Ideal student / cohort fit: who your program is for: experience level, career goals, geography, prerequisites.
  • Teaching approach & style: your methodology, stack, format (full-time, part-time, hybrid), and what makes the learning experience distinct.
  • Typical outcomes & timeframe: roles, portfolio outcomes, or certifications students typically reach, with realistic timelines you’re willing to stand behind.

If your cohort or positioning changes, you update that approved profile; future matches reflect it automatically.

How many Job Halo alerts will promote my bootcamp each month?

It depends on several things we don’t fully control: job market conditions, how often roles ask for skills that overlap your stack, how narrow or broad your technical focus is, subscriber volume in matching segments, and normal month-to-month variance.

As a rough planning range, partners often land in the ballpark of 20–80 personalized emails per month where your bootcamp appears; not a guarantee, but the band we budget for when skills alignment is healthy.

You’ll see each inclusion in the partner outreach activity dashboard we share with you after you join, so volume is visible and attributable.

Who’s on the Job Halo subscriber list?

About 3,000 subscribers. Through March 2026 Job Halo was built around the Data track (analytics, BI, data science). We’ve since expanded signup to the other technical paths: Software, Product, Design, Security, and the skills you pick under each on job-halo.com — not “more Data,” new tracks beyond it.

Do you share subscribers’ personal information or email addresses with bootcamp partners?

No. Job Halo does not share subscribers’ contact details (such as email addresses or phone numbers) or identifying information such as last names with bootcamp partners as part of this product. We do not sell subscriber data. See our Terms & Conditions.

Subscribers receive Job Halo job alerts in their own inbox. Where it fits normal email personalization, a first name may appear in what the subscriber sees; bootcamp partners still never receive subscriber contact fields, last names, or similar identifiers from Job Halo as a prospect list for follow-up outside these alerts.

The only way someone becomes a lead for a bootcamp partner is if they personally click through to that partner’s website and start a signup or inquiry there.
