This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you in connection with your use of our websites, including https://www.job-halo.com, https://www.coach-halo.com, and the Code Leads bootcamp partner pages at job-halo.com/code-leads (collectively, the “Service”). The terms “us,” “we,” or “our” refer to JH People Insights LLC, which operates these websites.
We collect personal information that you submit to us directly, as well as data collected automatically through your use of our Service. This information is used for fulfilling the purposes of the services we provide, including career coaching, job-related notifications and applications where you authorize us, and facilitating connections between coaches/mentors and coachees/mentees.
Additionally, when you interact with content related to specific coaches (such as viewing a coach profile or clicking on a link to learn more), we may collect data such as your name, email address, selected skills or interests, and the date/time of your interaction. This information may be shared with the relevant coach to facilitate potential connections or follow-up, only when you have provided consent or interacted in a way that reasonably implies interest in being contacted.
If you apply or purchase access to Code Leads for your bootcamp or training program, we collect the information you submit through our onboarding forms (such as contact details, program description, skills taught, URLs you provide for redirects, optional testimonials, and file uploads such as logos). Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full payment card numbers. We may transmit form submissions through automation connectors to operational systems such as email, spreadsheets, or CRMs so our team can review your partner setup. We use this information to deliver the partner service, communicate with you about billing and operations, and improve the product unless you agree otherwise.
To personalize Code Leads placements, we use automated tools, including AI, to match approved program facts with job descriptions and relevant subscriber skills, experience levels, preferences, and context. Operational vendors (for example payment, hosting, email, and CRM tools) may process this information solely to provide those functions.
What Code Leads partners can see. After activation, partners receive limited individual outreach records in a partner portal, not merely anonymous totals. Those records may include activity date, lead source, action type, bootcamp name, category, a subscriber first name or abbreviated display name, relevant job information (including a job posting URL and job context in the placement message or matching explanation), the personalized advertising copy we generated (which may include a first name), matching context such as overlapping skills or interest categories used for that send, and a matching explanation. We do not provide subscriber contact information (such as email addresses or phone numbers) to Code Leads partners. We do not sell subscriber data. A placement in an email is not a consenting sales lead; a subscriber becomes a partner’s lead only if they independently visit the partner’s site and submit an inquiry there.
If you are a Job Halo subscriber, this means Code Leads partners may see limited context about an alert that included a partner advertisement, as described above, and must not use that information to identify, enrich, independently contact, or build prospect lists about you.
We use DataFast and similar tools to understand how visitors use our sites (for example, pages viewed, marketing parameters such as UTM tags, and product events like completing a signup step or indicating interest in coaching). We also use a first-party session identifier (a random id stored in a short-lived browser cookie) so we can connect anonymous browsing on our site to the information you later submit in forms, without relying on third-party advertising cookies. Event data may be sent to our hosting provider (e.g. Netlify) and, when we enable it, to team-notification channels such as Slack or ntfy to help us respond to support and product needs; we do not use these systems to sell your personal information. If you require a cookie or analytics banner for your region, you should add one; our scripts are first-party to job-halo.com.
As part of our Services, we use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (“AI”), to process certain user data in order to generate potential matches between coaches and individuals seeking career support. The types of data used for AI matching may include professional information (such as skills, experience, and interests), interaction data (such as profile views or clicks), and account information. These AI-powered suggestions are provided as a convenience to help connect users more effectively. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or outcomes of AI-generated matches.

If you are a coach or mentor listed in the Coach-Halo directory, you consent to the collection and public display of information you submit, such as your name, photo, professional credentials, and contact details. This information is necessary to facilitate inquiries from coachees/mentees.
We do not process payment card data ourselves. Trusted third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe) securely handle payment details. We may access limited transaction metadata for accounting and support but do not store full credit card numbers.
By submitting your email address, you agree to receive communications related to our services. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the opt-out link in those emails or by contacting us directly. Transactional or service-related messages may continue where permitted by law.
We may engage contractors, freelancers, or third-party service providers to assist with delivering our services. These contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations and are only permitted to use your data to fulfill the specific services they perform. In some cases, this may include support for AI-powered matching tools, subject to confidentiality and security requirements.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes relating to privacy may also be subject to the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Use, including arbitration where applicable.
